I've only ever read Mitch Albom's book "Tuesdays with Morrie". My late wife read it before me, although I don't remember if it was before or after she was diagnosed with malignant melanoma. She never knew, at least in this life, that her mom would die from the same disease that Morrie had.
ReplyDeleteThe quote is true, but it does remind me a bit of that old saying about wishes:
"You can sh*t in one hand and wish in the other and see which one fills up first."
